WALK TO THE CUP 2010 In Support of the Alberta and Local Food Banks

     

Walk to the Cup 2010 Adds New Energy to Festivities across Alberta while working with the Alberta Food Bank to Help Alberta Communities

For the second time in a decade, Mark Muench and his friends/relatives have decided to start their Grey Cup celebration early and do something for the community with the Alberta Food Bank.  Hence the Walk To The Cup 2010.

Walk To the Cup 2010 is an event in which a group of CFL Football Fans from ages 18 to 76 walk a Grey Cup Ball from McMahon Stadium in Calgary (site of the 2009 Grey Cup) to Edmonton in time to kick off the 2010 Celebrations.  The walk takes place over 6 days from November 19-24 with stops in Airdrie, Olds, Red Deer, Wetaskiwin and Leduc before heading into Edmonton.  The main group consists of the Mark Muench (organized Grey Cup Walk 2000 as well as this year) and his extended family.  For more information or to Follow Walk To The Cup 2010 you can go to www.walktothecup2010.blogspot.com.
